US President Donald Trump has launched an attack on Bombardier, which supplies the aircraft used for Saab's GlobalEye airborne surveillance system.

On his Truth Social platform, Trump called for a boycott of the Canadian company.

- No more Bombardier sales in the United States! Their products are not good enough, Trump wrote.

According to Trump, more than half of Bombardier's revenue comes from the United States, where the company sells aircraft and has customers including airlines, businesses and airports.

Bombardier is a key partner for Saab on GlobalEye, with its business jet serving as the platform for the advanced radar and surveillance system. NATO also recently selected GlobalEye, choosing it to replace US-made surveillance aircraft.
